Privacy statement
TiArt values your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process, why we do so and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is:
- TiArt, based in Lelystad, the Netherlands
- E-mail: info@tiart.nl
- Phone: +31 626 65 64 65
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 85381454
2. Which data do we process?
We only process data that you provide yourself:
- Contact form via WhatsApp — your name and the content of your message. The form on this website stores nothing: it composes your message and opens WhatsApp, after which you decide whether to send it.
- Phone and e-mail — the details you give us when you call or write, such as your name, phone number, e-mail address and the address where the work is to be carried out.
- Server logs — your IP address, the date and time of your visit and the address requested. This happens automatically and is needed to keep the website secure and running.
3. What do we use your data for?
- To answer your question and prepare a quote.
- To carry out an installation, maintenance or repair and to communicate with you about it.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax record-keeping.
- To keep the website secure and available.
The legal bases are your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken prior to it, and our legitimate interest in a secure website (Article 6 GDPR).
4. Cookies and visitor measurement
This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics software such as Google Analytics. No visitor profiles are built and nothing is shared with advertising networks. That is also why we do not ask you for cookie consent.
5. Who do we share data with?
We do not sell your data. We do rely on the following parties:
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) — if you use the WhatsApp form or contact us through WhatsApp, that message passes through Meta and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies as well.
- Our hosting provider — for running the website and storing server logs.
- OVH — for our e-mail.
- A content delivery network — for faster image delivery. Your IP address is processed in the course of this.
6. How long do we keep your data?
- Quote requests with no follow-up: up to 1 year.
- Data relating to an assignment: 7 years, because of tax record-keeping obligations.
- Server logs: up to 6 months.
7. How do we protect your data?
The website is only reachable over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to e-mail and administration is limited to people who need the data for their work.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased. You may also have processing restricted, object to it and have your data transferred. If you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Send your request to info@tiart.nl. We respond within four weeks.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
9. Changes
We may update this statement when our practices or the law change. The current version is always on this page.
